As long as we stay within the L-rds Guidelines we won't get hurt.

But when we break rank with G-Ds Kingdom, bad things happen to well meaning Christian saints because they took it upon themselves to take up spiritual arms against angelic beings of which we are no match when we abide not in obedience to Christ our L-rd, and Messiah Jesus from Nazareth, say Amain.

Notice here that Jesus did not say what we bind in heaven will be bound on the earth. But Jesus from Nazareth did say whatsoever we bind on the earth will be bound in heaven.
In other words we move, operate, and have authority upon the earth, not in the heavenly realms because we are limited here to our earthly bodies so that is why Yeshua {Jesus from Nazareth} said on the earth what you bind will be bound by me in the heavens.
Remember we are made a bit lower than the angels, and are no match for fallen angels without the Authority afforded unto us by the L-rd himself.

All power in heaven and in the earth has been given to Him. Let us obey the L-rd. For as long as we abide in obedience to his word we represent him upon earth, and he represents us in heaven.
So whatsoever we bind by the authority he has given us upon the earth, we use it upon the earth, and then heaven is affected by our decrees which we must speak while upon the earth.
The minute we step out of line we walk out from under Almighty G-Ds chain of his command, and then we are on our own without his Kingdom Authority to defend us, and we open ourselves up unto needless, and unnecessary supernatural attacks by the Enemy of our souls, the Adversary of every last human being of all Mankind.

The Devil is no match for us if we abide in Christ our L-rd Jesus from Nazareth, our Messiah. Please Notice, if we will walk in the Victory of the L-rd, we must do so while upon the earth as we clothe ourselves in the spiritual weapons Almighty G-D has given us. The helmet of Salvation, which is the word of G-D, and we put it on when we abide in his words by reading the Holy Scriptures daily.

The work of Righteousness is a system of works, which works we do to gain eternal rewards, but we do not do the works of the Law of the Spirit in Christ Jesus from Nazareth to obtain Salvation, for we are saved by Grace through our Faith which is evidenced by the works in the Spirit which we do. For we do the works to show our Faith is alive, and not dead.
When we do this, we put on the Breastplate of His Holy Righteousness. Give G-D a Shout of Halleluyah!!!
