In Ephesus prostitution was an accepted way of life.
Men would have sexual intercourse with their daughters, and daughters gave birth to their own fathers seed, women had sexual intercourse with their sons and fathered seed from their own mothers, and so was the custom of the Ephesians, from family within the family, from family to family.
Ephesus was the original birth place of, and site of the primary temple, dedicated to the goddess Artemis which would later become known as the goddess Diana, Ephesus.
It was one of the most pagan, and Hellenistic societies, and most wicked cities in the Roman Empire, boasting at least 15 different temples to gods, and goddesses, and celebrating many abominations of gross sexual immorality including widespread homosexuality, and especially lesbianism activity.
In ancient times two main avenues intersected, and a huge brothel stood there advertising in stone on the avenues to accommodate every sexually perverse desire for the gratification of every man, woman, youth, and even children.
Ephesus was a sort of place where you do whatever you feel your flesh wants to do, much like the society within which we find ourselves entrapped living out our lives in today. But rabbi Sha'ul {the Apostle Paul} proposed that they not act like everyone else does, but behave as children of God should.
This idea was not accepted by all the Christians. In fact the Nicolatian Christians who lived in self-indulgence were mentioned in Revelation the second chapter {2} when Jesus was speaking of the church of Ephesus. They were allegedly followers of Nicolas, who was one of the elders in the church of Jerusalem mentioned in Acts 6:5, but had misconstrued his teachings to justify their deviant sexual indulgent lifestyles.
Here is where Saint Nicolas aka Santa Claus has been derived therefrom. Santa Claus, or Saint Nicolas is nothing more than a horrifyingly Demonstrous depiction of Idol worship from Ancient Ephesus depicted by the American Portrayal of Santa Claus. Nothing more than a wolf in sheep skin clothing.
And this is in part because Santa Claus is none other than the Devil Lucifer dressing up Lilith, the Adversary of Mankind whom is Satan disguised as a man who dressed up in his cause in order to deceive many countless millions of innocent children duped into believing in a man in a red coat who gives presents, and is even somehow even more celebrated on the 25th of December when Christ was supposedly born on the 25th of December.
Now true Christ was born, but was not born the 25th of December, but was Conceived during November on or about the 25th or about that part of November during the Festival of Lights, Namely Hanukkah, It is the Jewish Festival of Light celebrating the miracle of the oil in the Lampstand which burned for an additional 7 days when the supply of oil was only sufficient for only 1 day. Hence Jesus said during Hanukkah once recorded in the Gospel that he is the Light of the world.
And it was yet warm outdoors during October-November, and the sheep were yet in the field with the shepherds too. Hence the heavenly angelic host singing, and the shepherds beheld their joyous song hearing it, and wondering in themselves what is this that has come to pass. Read in Luke 2:1-15 KJV.
Suffice to say that because Jesus was conceived during Hanukkah around the 25th or about that day during November, so it is most probably and rationally reasonable to deduct that he was born on or about August the 25th about 9 months later when a full term pregnancy is accomplished.
Time won't allow me to continue to unveil all that wicked men have hidden in part in attempts to hide the truth from mankind, but suffice it to say the unraveling of Christmas as traditional celebrates Satan {Santa} Claus more than the L-rd who was supposedly born on that 25th day of December. It is a note which I will undertake to write, which shall be written in the future.
Now Back to the City of Abominations {Ephesus}
In Revelation chapter {2} Jesus is speaking to the church at Ephesus, and commends them for hating the deeds of these Nicolatians.
In such a society as Ephesus where people were encourage to exercise unrestrained freedom in carrying out their fleshly desires, concepts of submission and obedience were not seen as virtues. And much the same is true of this society. Then they were under Roman occupation, though they had fear, they did not have high respect for the authorities over them. Their highest authority, from their point of view, was a woman, Artemis of the Ephesians, who they worshipped as a god, who they evolved into a goddess namely Diana.
This, with the rampant sexual immorality led to a breakdown of the family structure. The role of husband was not recognized as having authority associated with it. Neither did the husbands show proper love to their wives as they went to the temple to have sex with the temple prostitutes, some even with having sex with their own daughters.
As the wives did not respect their husbands so also the children did not respect their parents. Perhaps Isaiah puts it best in describing the symptoms of such a society that had turned away from Almighty God in essence saying, "Their children are rebellious and women rule over them" Isaiah 3:4-17 was a accurate depiction of the City of Ephesus.
Yet this was not necessarily alarming to the Ephesians as they had redefined the role relationships in the society to conform to the culture exactly as has the United States of America also done, following in the footsteps of the Ephesians of Ephesus.
Such as has the United States of America, the New Mother of Harlotry. But Rome will Revive and Reclaim her Emperor Status back from America in these last hours of the History of Humanity. And the Antichrist will be her leader. You can mark my words. All that is herein been written will shortly come to pass.
